How do I get a refund from Smartfares?

As stated on smartfares.com, most airline tickets are non-refundable, non-changeable and non-cancellable. In limited instances, an airline may allow a ticket to be changed for a fee, plus the increased cost of the new ticket. 

To send a request for a refund, customers should contact the Smartfares customer service agent. Once a notification is sent, an e-mail notification should be sent by Smartfares to confirm such request. All requests for refunds are processed in a sequence. There can be a penalty for a refund. 

The entire process, from receipt of customer refund request to reflection of the same in the credit card statement, might take 60-90 days.
